There are various combinations of Private  Hire available to suit your every need. 

Here are some suggestions to give you an idea. 
With Private Hire the train or coach(es) will be available for your exclusive use.

Great Western Railway locomotive No 4247 hauls the Dining Train out of the the beautiful Glynn Valley. 

One or two coaches may be attached to our ordinary trains running to our published timetable. 

If you wish to have your function at any other time we are happy to run the train especially for you.  For example if you wanted an evening dinner for your club or party we could arrange for a 7.30pm departure from Bodmin General to travel the whole line and return at about 10pm.

Prices start from £400 for one coach added to a service train to a minimum of £750 for a special train

FOOD & DRINK  

We can offer you a wide range of food to suit your requirements from a simple Finger Buffet to a three or four course meal followed by tea or coffee.  Finger Buffets are normally self service where your guests can help themselves.  Meals are served at your table.

Food prices are extra to the Train Hire. 

Drinks - a table service is provided with the meal option and a bar service is available with buffets.

Conference and meeting facilities are available for groups of up to 30 persons on the train.

Mains electrical power is available even whilst on the move.
A public address system operates throughout the train.
Audio-visual presentation systems available on request.

LOCOMOTIVES

If you have any preferences for the locomotive you would like on your train please let us know.  Trains are usually hauled with a steam locomotive.  We will make every effort to meet your wishes.

GWR 2-8-0T No 4247
Diesel Locos (if preferred) include Class 50 50042 "Triumph",  Class 33 33110,
Class 20 20166 "River Fowey", Class 37 37142
