The best way to enjoy the Gala is to purchase a Rover Ticket giving you complete freedom to travel the line for the validity of the ticket

Day Rover Tickets available (but not valid on Goods Trains or evening Specials.)
All Line and One Journey Tickets available at usual fares
Platform Tickets £2 (accompanied Children Free)

Lineside Photo Passes are REQUIRED if you wish to enter Railway land other than at stations.

Both Goods Trains will convey passengers in the Brake Van. On the return journey, stops will be made for photographic run pasts. Able-bodied only-passengers MUST be able to climb on/off the brakevan from/to ground level.  Special fare £10 for one train, £15 for both trains.  50% discount with Rover Tickets.
 LIMITED ACCOMMODATION - Please book in advance.

Evening Brake Van Special

Come and enjoy the unique atmosphere of riding in a Goods Brake Van standing on the veranda perhaps with a glass of beer!
£12.50 including Cornish Pasty.  50% discount for Rover Ticket holders.

Evening Steam, Beer & Jazz Special

Band starts playing at 6pm at Bodmin General station.
Come and enjoy the sound Jazz, drinking real ale with the sight and smell of a steam locomotive. 
Fish & Chips served during the journey.  A GREAT EVENING OUT

Real Ale Festival

Cornwall CAMRA will once again be providing the opportunity to sample a selection of local ales at our mini festival on the platform at Bodmin General. 
Bar open Friday & Saturday 11am to 11pm & Sunday 11am to 4pm.
 

Book Signings

Local railway author, Maurice Dart will be signing copies of his various Halgrove Press publications including his new book Images of Railways in Bristol, Somerset & Dorset at Bodmin General Station on Saturday & Sunday from 11am
